And.....breath

June of 2005 I applied for a job...

• I took a written test a few months later and passed.

A Few months later:

• I sat through a panel interview and passed.

A few more months later:

• I ran an obstacle course and passed.

Another couple of months later:

• I under went a background investigation and passed.

Next:

• I did a polygraph and passed.

Then:

• I went through a medical exam and passed.

And Finally:

• A psychological test in which I waited and waited and waited and waited for the results.

Due to a staff members error in dating some material I waited almost 3 months longer than I should have. The length of time that it was taking, only led me to believe that it wasn't looking good. I've been cranky, pouty, irritable, depressed and an all around big poo to be around.

AND THEN! Today I get the call...I have been accepted to the police academy! HOLY SHIT!!!!!! Now I don't know what to do with myself. I have been doing this for over two years...If I'm not worrying about getting in to the academy what else am I suppose to do? I'm in complete shock!
